When Joy Cameron called me in early April looking for a photo booth, I knew this was going to be a very special event for the greater Treasure Valley (Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, etc). Joy Cameron held the first Shine Prom in 2014 and this year's event was expected to be even bigger than the last. With a heart to serve the special needs population and make sure that everyone has an opportunity to experience prom, Joy worked diligently to create an unforgettable event.
The photo booth was a hit! We used our photo booth kiosk and a green screen backdrop to allow a photography experience that was ADA accessible and would provide fun for all attendees. To keep with the luau theme, we used the green screen backdrop with images of Hawaii and various beaches. It really made me wish I could be on vacation in Hawaii, but the photo booth gave us a glimpse of the beauty of the beach & outdoors.
The Shine Prom, along with mention of Treasure Valley Photo Booth, was featured in The Huffington Post on May 7. There is a great highlight video that shows the booth, the line that was constant all night long, and a couple of our wonderful attendants providing unmatched customer service.
